London Le’Blanc Magazine interviews with Stunna!

London Le'Blanc- What's up with ya?

Stunna - Erthang Cool with me, Happy to be here and thank you for having me.

London Le'Blanc- You come from a musical background. Who was your biggest inspiration growing up?

Stunna - Growing up my first inspiration was my father in a musical aspect as in a household of 5, I had 2 elder brothers and I remember we were always taught how to play the keyboard, guitar which he would request us to practice, then he had one day brought home a book for me on how to write songs which I hooked onto more than learning the instruments. What amazed me more about the music career was him telling us about his adventures as a musician and traveling the world and all that good stuff etc. I was later further influenced and inspired by HIP-HOP at a very young age. Picture stepping into a room where all you see is 2pac, Notorious B.I.G (may their souls rest in peace), and Snoop Dogg posters and their music always being bumped from the cassettes to the CD's, I had no other choice but to learn and dive deeper into the genre and it has made me who I am today.

London Le'Blanc- You're over in Abu Dhabi what's the Hip Hop scene like over there?

Stunna - The Hip Hop Scene in the Middle East is like a ring in the desert. You can spot talent, but with no record labels and proper management services available, it’s more like a pipe dream and if you do manage to get out and succeed, it's definitely worth the trip you feel me. Hip hop is what the youth will represent but with respect to the culture of the Middle East and its history, hip hop managed to still be loved by the citizens of this nation. You can see it by the constant events of the nation bringing in celebrities like - Sisqo, Drake, 50 Cent, Nicki Minaj, 6ix9ine, Outlawz, Travis Scott, Eminem just to name a few, if you catching my drift. Local talent would only be pushed on a cultural level as it's by the end of the day CULTURE and I respect that. People of other genres would have to make a name outside and later be acknowledged inside. It is what it is.

London Le'Blanc- How many songs have you released over the last decade?

Stunna - Within the last decade, I've released so many songs you can pile em up into 8 albums or so. I mean I was always in the studio, dropping music, whether in Abu Dhabi or when I visit Kenya, Tanzania it don't matter, As long as a mic was available, I was dropping something, cause I always had something on my mind and something to say.

London Le'Blanc- Out of all of them what's your favorite one, and why?

Stunna - I love all my songs, but with everything, I been through the song that hits home and was acknowledged by a lot was Mask Off. It's basically an autobiography of my trials and tribulations when having a family of my own. It's an open book and it's was my cousin's favorite song, she recently passed away from cancer (May her soul rest in peace), she would always vouch for me, cheer me on, and tell her children about me. I managed to influence her son who now writes and sings his own songs.

London Le'Blanc- You've recently struck a management deal with Boss Lady Productions UAE, tell us more about that?

Stunna - Mama P, aka Paula Hall, the CEO of Boss Lady Productions UAE; has been a blessing ever since we first got to know each other. It was destined u know what I mean. What's crazy about it is we have even met face to face, due to COVID and her being outside the County on other business, but we are communicating every day, via Zoom Conference, Emails, What's App and Calls and we still making moves. She believes in me and my artistry. It's what I've been waiting for, and God answered my prayers. She's proven her business savvy, networking skills and proven her loyalty and trust, only she can make moves how a Boss Lady make moves. The rest is history, keep ya ears tuned in.

London Le'Blanc- What single are you promoting right now? And where can we find it?

Stunna - Home-Run, available on all major platforms, but I've made it easier as you can log-on to www.stunnatng.com for all the latest releases, merchandise and all that good-stuff. People don’t have time to get to 100 links, so they can go direct to my website. As an Artist, having a website is important. As Boss Lady always say, we must do things different. Work Smart and look out for the Fans and make things easier for them.

London Le'Blanc- With covid19 and all, do you have any planned performances coming up?

Stunna - Boss Lady is definitely on that and got everything scheduled as she cracking these deals with a lot of the venues slowly opening up. More to come, as long as you tuned in, we ain't gonna miss a beat with Boss Lady as my Manager. COVID may slow us down, but it won’t stop us from grinding. Boss wants to make sure we are safe and following the rules at all times.

London Le'Blanc- Aside from music what else lights your fire?

Stunna - My Family!!!... I am nothing without them.

London Le'Blanc-  We appreciate you chopping it up with us. Please tell our readers how they can follow you on social media.  Also, let them know where they can find your music.

Stunna - Follow me, Like, Comment, and Subscribe on my socials @stunnatng on IG and twitter, the social media icons on my website www.stunnatng.com make it easier to go straight to my profile on other platforms like YouTube, Spotify, etc.
